Muse Five Generations Workshop

On Thursday, November 10, 2016, Muse delivered a day-long workshop to the American Baptist Churches of the South (ABCOTS). This workshop helped the organization enhance its engagement of five generations in their ultimate mission to serve the Kingdom of God. This highly interactive workshop identified the generations, their archetypes, and characteristics of their leaders. Participants received strategies for effectively communicating and leading in a multi-generational context. Attendees received a self-assessment and coaching session to support enhancement of their leadership acumen.

CEO, Linda Cureton, was one of the thought leaders participating as a panelist for the UMUC Cyber Day Program: Interconnected and Unprotected—The Cybersecurity Dilemma: Pervasive Cybersecurity Threats in the Workplace and Your Personal Life. The event was hosted by UMUC’s Center for Security Studies on Friday, November 4th from 1:00-4:30pm EST, at the UMUC Academic Center in Largo, MD. Participants had the opportunity to learn from the experts how to identify and minimize cybersecurity threats at work and at home. The panel was moderated by Paul Cunningham, Chief Information Security Officer, Department of Energy.

Technology for the 21st Century Professional

On Monday, November 7, 2016, Muse delivered a half-day course titled Technology for the 21st Century Professional from 9AM to Noon inside 4425 Forbes Blvd Conference Center. This course provided the participants with the basic abilities in modern technology, social media, and privacy and security. Understanding, and utilizing technology and social media effectively is a soft skill that is critical in today’s personal and professional environments. This course provided an overview of technology that offers a fundamental understanding of the importance of successful communication via Social Media, and ensuring your privacy and professionalism while navigating these platforms.
